Linking UKG and Active Directory

Link expressions are used to define how a UKG Pro employee will be linked to an Active Directory user.

A link is based on expressions (single or multiple) that must be met for the match to occur.

If there is a link, then the employee is considered to have an existing user account in Active Directory and will be updated.

If there is NO link, then the employee is considered to be a new employee that does not exist in Active Directory. If Use Auto Provision is switched on, then the user will be created in Active Directory.

If multiple users match your expressions, no users will be updated in Active Directory. 

Please make sure that all the employees included in the Employee Filter can be linked to a user in Active Directory or it may result in duplicate users in Active Directory.
