Platform configuration is a standard module within UKG Pro that allows admins to add custom fields to employee records. These custom fields can be read and utilized by Connect to AD during the configuration process.

Platform configuration enables you to add custom fields to the following entities (also known as classes) in UKG.
- Person
- Employment
- Employee
- Job
- Location
- Org Level 1
- Org Level 2
- Org Level 3
- Org Level 4
- Address
- International Employee class
Each platform configuration field is unique to your instance of UKG Pro and is not explicitly listed because it changes based on how your HR team defines it.
To reference platform configuration fields in your expressions, enable the Include Platform Config option in the UKG Connection section, then save and restart Connect to AD.
Once this setting is enabled, the fields will be accessible in the UKG field selector.
Please be aware that only standard platform configuration fields are supported; calculated platform configuration fields are not.
