Connect to AD supports integrating with the UKG Onboarding module, allowing the provisioning and synchronization of user accounts while employee records are still in the onboarding workflow.
To connect to UKG Onboarding, create a new environment, set the target to UKG Onboarding, and collect the following information:
- Host Name: This should match your UKG Pro hostname, which is stored in UKG Pro under System Configuration > Security > Web services. For a list of common host names, please refer to this article.
- Client ID and Secret: You must request this from the UKG support team, and state that this is for the Connect to AD application, and specifically request access to the Onboarding Enhanced API. For more information, please refer to this article.
- Tenant ID: You can locate this in the central section of the URL for your UKG Onboarding instance, as demonstrated in the example below.
Once all the information is in place, select the correct identity host from the drop-down menu, save, and test the connection.
Your UKG Onboarding Identity Host is tied to your UKG Host. Please reference the table below to select the correct Identity Host in Connect to AD:
